Broome (return)
July 20 - 22
July 29 - August 3
Scenic Flight, July 20
I had a brief interlude in my sea adventures to return home for family reasons. I was fortunate enough to get the last seat on a seaplane from Horizontal Falls on the last day the tours ran before neap tides. As well as more shark and waterfall adventures I got a scenic flight to Broome. My gracious hosts Arnhem and Maxine once again welcomed me with open arms, and I got to meet some of the family between my two stays before and after flying home. Colin and crew returned to Broome the day before I flew back there, and I once again picked up the cruising trail.

Up at dawn to view dinosaur prints on a low spring tide at the beautiful Gantheaume Point.

Camels
Though some may see them as "flea-ridden, dung-covered, cleft-lipped, spitting, stink bags" (quote unquote cousin Andrew), I think the Broome camels are absolutely adorable!

Family
We said our final farewell to Broome with a twilight cruise on "The Esky' with friends of old and new, and Arnhem made us a "grommet" or two by which to remember our Broome encounters.
