Camden Sound (return), July 14 - 20
High Bluff, July 14 - 15 25nm, 5hrs 45min
The boys do a morning burn-off before we set off for Sampson Inlet. They misjudged the tide and had some rather nervous moments wading through thigh-deep mud to get back to the dinghy.

Sampson Inlet, July 15 - 17 30nm, 5hrs
We have a very memorable entry to the inlet as two manta rays do backflips out of the water.
After Lloyd and I spend two hours fishing with barely a bite I employ Colin’s method of fishing and get a huge whole snapper plus some fillets from the crew on ‘Anya’. They had just entered the inlet and took pity on us being unable to catch a fish in such an apparently easy place to catch them!
Determined, the next day I manage to catch my own snapper.

Colin and I take the dinghy to explore a rather speccy lookin' creek on the other side of the bay.

An amazing place I’m very happy to return to. I especially love sinking my toes into the mud.

Horizontal Waterfalls (Talbot Bay), July 19 - 20 45nm, 8hrs
The only way to fly home from here was to book the half day tour from Broome. This included the falls boat ride, an info and feeding session with the sharks, and breakfast (which they allowed Colin to also attend by turning a blind eye). This time the tide through the narrowest "pinch" was too strong to safely take the boat through, but we hovered near it for a good look.
